Traineeship Commercial Department

What will you do?

Have you recently graduated or are you looking to take the first step in your commercial career? At Roveg Fruit, you will not join a standard traineeship. You will become part of a dynamic international trading business where you will learn the ins and outs of the fresh fruit and vegetable market from experienced professionals.

As a Commercial Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in sales, purchasing, customer relations and account management. Together, we will create a personal development plan to help you grow into an independent commercial professional within Roveg Fruit. During the traineeship, you will learn all aspects of the commercial operation, including:

• Developing product knowledge of fresh fruits and vegetables
• Understanding product quality standards and specifications
• Learning about packaging, pallets and logistical processes
• Gaining insight into different customer segments and their requirements
• Building and maintaining customer relationships
• Supporting commercial purchasing and sales activities
• Managing and processing commercial administration
• Learning how account management and sales processes work
• Identifying commercial opportunities and market developments
• Working closely with the sales team to achieve commercial objectives
