For our transport team, we are looking for a driver who will mainly transport containers to and from the Maasvlakte.

What will you do?

As a CE Driver, you will mainly be responsible for collecting and transporting containers from the Maasvlakte. Experience with container transport is important, as there are various checks and procedures on the Maasvlakte that you need to be familiar with when picking up and handling containers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and delivering containers;
  • Driving to and from the Maasvlakte;
  • Checking transport documents and cargo;
  • Carrying out your trips safely and carefully;
  • Maintaining independent contact with customers, colleagues and terminals;
  • Keeping the vehicle clean, safe and in good condition.

You may start very early. For a trip to the Maasvlakte, this regularly means starting around 03:00–03:30.

That may sound early, but you will also finish your work on time and be able to head home afterwards. You will work largely independently and have a lot of freedom while on the road.

You will mainly work Monday to Friday. Approximately once every 2–3 weeks, you will work on Saturday morning, usually from around 05:30 until 11:00/12:00.

The average working week is around 45–50 hours, depending on the planning and workload.

Who are you?

  • You have a valid CE driving licence;
  • You have a valid Code 95;
  • You have experience as a CE driver;
  • You are flexible and have no problem starting early;
  • You are willing to work on Saturday mornings approximately once every 2–3 weeks;
  • You work carefully and responsibly;
  • You can work independently and follow all applicable safety and transport regulations.

For driving on the Maasvlakte and using a Cargocard, additional requirements apply. As part of the procedure, we will need, among other things, a passport photo and a copy of your driving licence. A background/reliability check may also be part of the procedure.

What do we offer?

  • A market-conform salary according to the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement for Professional Freight Transport (CAO Beroepsgoederenvervoer), depending on experience and salary scale. Up to €3,520 gross per month based on 40 hours;
  • Overtime and allowances according to the CAO;
  • A 13th-month payment, paid monthly as 1/12 together with your salary;
  • Your own fixed truck;
  • Opportunities to also drive distribution and international routes;
  • A full-time 7-month employment contract, with the possibility of a permanent contract;
  • 27 vacation days based on a full-time employment contract;
  • 8% holiday allowance;
  • Pension scheme in accordance with the CAO;
  • Company phone;
  • €0.25 per kilometre travel allowance from 10 km one-way, up to a maximum of 60 km per day;
  • A stable employer within an international organisation.

At Roveg, you are not just a number. You become part of a committed transport team where you have the freedom to carry out your work independently.

Start early, hit the road, do your job well and head home afterwards.

Does this sound like something for you? We would love to meet you!
